Marji Eldreth has been an active performer and teacher of the steel pan for 15 years. She has been a music educator for over 20 years as a high school vocal teacher at Cab Calloway School of the Arts, and for the past 12 years, has been teaching the Steel Band there as well. Marji has played pan internationally in such places as Trinidad and Tobago, Greece, Vienna, Israel, Germany and Sweden. She has performed with a number of Steel Bands, including Delaware Steel, Philly Pan Stars, New Generation Branches Steel Orchestra and Plenty Pepper Steel band.  She has performed in competitions and festivals including Panoramas in Miami and Brooklyn, and has even performed in the Mummers Day Parade! Marji has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from University of Delaware and Master's Degree in Conducting from Messiah University.
