Born in Colombia, Jorge Ramirez is a composer and educator with vast musical experience. He received his Bachelor in Music Education concentrating in Wind Ensemble pedagogy from Conservatorio del Tolima, as well as a Masters in Music Composition from the University of Delaware. In the summer of 2019, Jorge was a music instructor at Camp Canadensis. From performing with different ensembles, managing a baroque flute quartet, composing for orchestras, to playing with rock bands, DJing and producing his own electronic music, his projects have taken him to Europe and back.
